Board Ambassadors: Carrying the Mission to the Community (Engaging the Board in Development without Trespassing or Fear)

Board Ambassadors, a one-day workshop will provide attendees with the tools to work most effectively with board members as ambassadors to potential donors. It will be facilitated by fundraising experts, skilled in successful nonprofit human service fundraising. See the bottom of this article for registration information.
This highly interactive workshop will explore the role of board members in communicating the importance of mission and impact of the organization to prospective donors within their personal networks. Attendees will learn how to empower your board members to create comfortable conversations on mission and vision, and lay the foundation for successful solicitation of charitable gifts.
Presented four times throughout 2010 in four different locations, this workshop will also feature fundraising experts who are skilled in successful nonprofit human service fundraising.
